In the MINI Cooper, sometimes the tachometer can stop displaying because the ground connection may get loose. To troubleshoot, first unplug it and ensure the connection at the bottom of the tachometer is secure. Another thing to check is the fuses corresponding to the gauge images in the footwell. Make sure the contacts are clean and the wire on the fuse is intact and not damaged. If the wiring appears fine, it could mean the gauge is faulty and needs to be replaced.
If the tachometer screen in a MINI Cooper isn't functioning, chances are it's due to a blown fuse, a malfunctioning speed sensor, or other electrical problems.
Howdy! The lights on my 2008 Mini Cooper's odometer (showing mileage and time) stay on even after I turn off the car, which is causing my battery to drain. Even after disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it, the issue persists. This problem began after resetting the dashboard following the tire pressure light going off. Any advice on how to fix this?
Azmina - That conduct could have negative implications for the BC1 module, particularly if moisture has entered the footwell area (which is common). Have you managed to resolve the problem?
