If the touch screen of your 2013 Hyundai Veloster is not working, there are typically two main reasons for this issue. Firstly, the ambient temperature can affect the functionality of touch screens because they rely on sensing heat. If it's too cold outside, the touch screen may not work properly. Secondly, if the touch screen doesn't turn on at all, the likely culprit is a faulty fuse. To access the fuse box, locate it on the left side of the steering wheel by looking for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. You can use a screwdriver or prybar to open this panel. Inside, there will be several fuses. Look on the back of the panel for a diagram that indicates the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not present, you can also refer to the owner's manual for the vehicle. Once you identify the appropriate fuse, remove it by pulling it out. Check if the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact. If it's broken, the fuse is no longer functional and needs to be replaced. If the strip is still connected, the fuse is good, and you can place it back in its slot. Replacement fuses are usually inexpensive, costing around $10.
If the touch screen on your 2013 Hyundai Veloster isn't functioning, it could be due to a disconnected cable under the dashboard or require a software reset.
