The Jeep Wrangler JK requires lug nuts that are 1/2 X20 size and have a 13/16" or 21mm hex. To remove your wheels, you'll need either a 13/16" or 21mm socket. While an impact wrench can be used to take off the lug nuts, it's best to use a tire iron, ratchet, or torque wrench to put them back on. Using an impact driver to reinstall the lug nuts can apply too much torque and potentially damage the threads on the nuts or wheel studs, leading to expensive repairs. Over-tightening can also harm the rims if they are squeezed too tightly.
The lug nut size for the Jeep Wrangler JK is half an inch by twenty threads per inch.
