When activated, it decreases fuel injection to lower gas consumption and improve miles per gallon. By reducing power output, the engine can run more efficiently and use less gas. The ECON mode is recommended for city driving, suburban areas, and long trips. To turn on this mode, simply press the button, and a light on the dashboard will indicate that it is activated.
