Contrary to popular belief, the ESP button in your Audi A4 is not about predicting the future. It actually controls the electronic stability program, a technology that aims to enhance your car's stability by recognizing and averting loss of traction. Think of it as your "Engage Snow Play" switch. When activated, it reduces engine power to prevent spinning out, but it can hinder you if you're trying to get out of snow or mud. In such instances, it's okay to turn off the ESP by looking for the triangle with circles on the dashboard. Don't worry about it and feel free to disable it when necessary!
