If your 2012 Chevy Cruze is dripping fuel from the gas cap, it may be because the cap is cracked or the threads are damaged, preventing it from securely screwing in place. A replacement cap should set you back around $30, which isn't too bad. If the gas cap is leaking, you'll see the check engine light turn on and it won't go off until you address the issue. Although the cost in lost gas is minimal, there is a risk of car damage if a potential fire is sparked.
If you see oil leaking near the oil cap of your 2012 Chevy Cruze, it could be due to a missing pcv flapper on the intake manifold.
