There are various reasons why there might be no sound coming from the radio in a 2018 Chevy Silverado. One possible cause could be a blown fuse, which can be checked by referring to the owner's manual for the fuse box diagram and replacing the faulty fuse with one of the same amperage. Another reason for the lack of sound could be a loose electrical connection, which may be located either behind the radio or inside the doors leading to the speakers. If the speakers are blown, the door panels may need to be removed to access the bolts securing the speakers to the door.
Typically, when the radio has no sound, it is often due to a blown fuse or the absence of power reaching the radio.
