If your Chevrolet Spark DIC displays code 35, it indicates that the battery in your remote key needs replacement. The key fob requires a CR 1620 battery. To replace it, use a small screwdriver to remove the Phillips head screw on the back of the fob. Carefully open the remote, take out the battery housing, and peel back the plastic film covering the battery. Remove the old battery and insert a new one with the negative side facing down and the positive side up. Reapply the plastic film, position the battery housing correctly with the buttons, and close the remote. Finally, tighten the screw to secure the remote housing.
In a Chevrolet Spark, if you see Code 35 pop up, it indicates a problem with the idle air control valve.
Can I easily fix code 35 on my Chevy Spark by myself at home?
