In order for your Acura MDX to have a lifespan exceeding 200,000 miles, it is essential to conduct routine maintenance. Consistently servicing your vehicle is critical for longevity. Regularly changing the fluids in your SUV not only safeguards the engine and other parts from potential harm but also provides an opportunity for a mechanic to examine your vehicle during scheduled maintenance. Addressing minor issues promptly during inspections is more manageable and affordable than waiting for them to escalate into bigger problems. Investing in maintenance now can lead to significant savings on future repair costs.

I've had to replace the entire steering rack on my 2008 MDX when it hit around 215,000 kilometers. Along with routine maintenance, I've also had to replace the catalytic converter, a few O2 sensors, a couple of accessory tensioners, and the alternator over time. I'm on my third set of rear shocks and second set of front struts. I'm the second owner, got the car at 144,000 kilometers and have been using it for work, hauling tools in the trunk. The car, now 12 years old with 455,000 kilometers, still runs well with its original engine and transmission in excellent condition. I have no plans to sell it and I highly recommend it.

I drive a 2007 MDX with 252,000 miles on it. The car is still going strong with no issues! Just remember to replace the timing belt when needed.

My 2002 Acura MDX with a 3.5-liter engine has racked up around 402,648 miles over nearly two decades without any issues. I meticulously handle the tune-ups myself, but my wife is reluctant to part ways with it.

I have a 2007 MDX with over 200,000 miles on it. I've only needed to do regular maintenance on it so far. It's hands down the best car I've ever had. When I'm ready for a new vehicle, I'll just be moving up to a more recent model.

I had a 2001 Honda Lx V6 with 350,000 miles that was still going strong, along with a 2001 Acura MDX V6 3.5 with 178,000 miles. Now, I have a 2011 MDX SH-AWD V6 3.7 with 60,000 miles. These have been very dependable vehicles, and I don't plan on switching back to American cars.

My vehicle has more than 250,000 miles on it and is still running well - it's really an incredible SUV. The only problem I've come across is that replacing the shift solenoid sensors can be quite difficult, but that's the only issue I've encountered.

There have been many accounts of the Acura MDX exceeding 200,000 miles with proper upkeep.

I own a 2004 MDX base model with 167,000 miles. Recently, I replaced one of the radiator fan motors and decided to also take care of the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, battery, and all fluids by flushing and replacing them. I believe it's now in excellent condition. I intend to keep it for another hundred thousand miles at least.

I recently purchased a 2005 MDX for $1,200 with 205,000 miles on it. It has a cracked radiator, but it runs well overall. I just need to give the EGR valve a good cleaning.

could you recommend the top spot to get my car repaired?

I drive a 2017 Acura MDX SH-AWD with 140,000 miles that I've taken good care of, but it's now in need of a new engine. Despite a recall for the common bearing issue in newer Acuras like mine, my car isn't covered under it. In contrast, I owned a 2003 Honda Pilot with 300,000 miles that never once had a breakdown, despite not receiving regular service. If you're considering a 2016-2020 MDX, beware the potential cost of a $10,000 engine replacement with a used one.

My 2002 MDX is still running strong with 253,000 miles on it. My 2010 has 109,000 miles and I intend to drive it for at least another 100,000 miles.
