A malfunctioning electric motor that controls the glass opening and closing can lead to operational issues. Additionally, the glass moves along a track that may deteriorate over time, causing the roof to jam and obstruct proper opening. One can often resolve this by applying a silicone spray for cleaning. In rare cases, the gaskets around the roof may fail, resulting in water leakage into the cabin from above.

Our 2005 S model comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof. Unfortunately, it tends to allow in excessive heat and produces squeaking noises in hot weather. While I wouldn't choose a vehicle with this feature again, my husband is quite fond of it. The sunroof gives the car a convertible-like feel, but I personally prefer a smaller roof as the larger one causes too much wind to mess up my hair.
