Issues with the rear spoiler on the Audi TT typically arise from a malfunctioning motor responsible for adjusting the spoiler. The automatic rear spoiler is designed to enhance the car's stability by extending at speeds over about 120 km/h and retracting at speeds below approximately 80 km/h. To reach the motor, the plastic trim inside the hatch needs to be taken off. After removing this trim, the part containing the spoiler channel can be detached.
