In 2014, the GMC Sierra may experience transmission problems like shuddering and delayed shifting. It is crucial to replace the transmission fluid every 30,000 to 60,000 miles to prevent issues. Along with fluid changes, unpleasant noises may occur from the transmission, indicating the need for maintenance. Ignoring old transmission fluid can lead to discomfort for the ears. A worn-out torque converter can also be a source of trouble. The transmission holds significant importance in the vehicle, and problems are likely to arise eventually. Issues such as harsh shifting, shudders, jerking, stuck gears, slipping transmission, and delayed shifting can occur. These problems can result in acceleration issues. If there is a transmission fluid leak, it should be promptly addressed to prevent further complications.

I bought a 2014 car at Doug Bowmer Auto in Anderson, Indiana, but it came with a faulty transmission. I've only had the car for 14 months. If I had known about these issues beforehand, I wouldn't have purchased it. In addition to the transmission problem, there have been other electrical and starting issues. The dealer should have replaced the transmission under warranty, but they exceeded the warranty mileage of 5.9 miles while the car was at their shop. I strongly advise against going to Ed Martin Chevy for maintenance or warranty work as they do not provide satisfactory service.
