The 2007 Nissan Titan comes with blue antifreeze that uses OAT technology meant for Asian vehicles. It should be mixed with water if it's not already diluted to a 50/50 ratio. The Titan's 5.6-liter V8 engine requires 12.9 US quarts of antifreeze. You can locate the coolant reservoir beneath the hood, on the passenger's side in front of the battery. Always check the levels when the engine is cool. Avoid opening the coolant cap when the engine is hot to prevent sputtering or burns from hot coolant. Warning signs of low antifreeze levels include higher engine temperatures, warning lights, and leaks from the front of the vehicle. If you need to replace or repair the thermostat, water pump, or radiator hoses, it could affect the antifreeze levels.
The 2007 Nissan Titan can be filled with coolant that comes in either blue or green colors. Commonly recommended coolant brands for this vehicle include Peak OET and Prestone Antifreeze.
