The 2011 Ford Fusion supposedly uses Peak OET engine coolant, PAG0B3. However, the car is not very particular about coolants, and many drivers have used various types with mostly positive results. It is crucial not to mix different coolant types as it can cause negative reactions, resulting in the antifreeze turning into a gel-like substance. If you are unsure about the coolant type in your car, especially if you bought it used, it might be best to drain and replace all the fluid in the radiator with new coolant. Affordable solutions like Dex-Cool are available, so a coolant flush should not be too expensive.
