The 2007 Ford Mustang uses OE engine coolant. Various engine issues may arise, such as a loose spark plug causing problems, a loose gasket needing tightening, and oil leaks that should be promptly fixed. A critical issue is engine overheating, which could lead to fires and even the car exploding. Excessive oil usage may necessitate earlier-than-expected oil changes. It is recommended to change the coolant every around 60,000 miles, replace the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, and switch out spark plugs every 100,000 miles unless they are copper, in which case they should be replaced every 30,000 miles.
