The Chevy Colorado uses Valvoline 32 Ounce DOT 3 and DOT 4 Brake Fluid. Changing the brake fluid in a vehicle can be a straightforward process, depending on whether you need to bleed the brakes. If you only need to top up the fluid, you can locate the intake port under the car's hood, unscrew the cap, and check the fluid level between the MIN and FULL lines. Fill it to near the full line, screw the cap back on, and you're finished. If bleeding the brakes is necessary, begin by raising the car off the ground with a jack and removing the tires. Starting at the back, find the bleeder valve on the wheel and attach a piece of rubber tubing to it, turning the valve to open. Inside the car, depress the brake pedal slowly, release it, and repeat the process. Watch as the old fluid flows out into a bucket through the tubing. Continue this until no more fluid comes out, then move on to the next wheel. Repeat this for all wheels, reattach the tires, and top up the brake fluid.
Engine oil 0 91 is the specific oil required for the Chevy Colorado. Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) is the fluid utilized in the Chevy Colorado.
DEF remains the same regardless of the company offering it.
