Locate the oil pan and drain plug underneath the engine. Place a bucket under the plug, remove it, and let the oil drain completely, which can take around an hour. Once it stops dripping, replace the plug. Then, fill the oil pan using a funnel, being careful not to overfill. It's better to slightly underfill than to overfill, which can cause leaks and oil burn off. After filling, close the port and clean up any spilled oil to complete the process.
