To change the power steering fluid in a 2014 Chevy Traverse, you will first need to locate the Prestone full-synthetic power steering fluid container under the hood near the window. It is a clear plastic container. Use a pump to extract all the fluid from the container. As the fluid level gets low, turn the steering wheel all the way to one side and then to the other to drain the fluid in the wheel into the container. Once the container is empty, refill it to the full line without overfilling. Allow some time for the steering wheel to loosen up by driving for about 20 minutes to ensure the process was successful.
