The VW Tiguan panoramic sunroof may encounter a few issues. The motor and hinges could get damaged, causing the sunroof to malfunction. The most common problem with the motor is a blown fuse. To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack to the left of the steering wheel on the dashboard. You can use a screwdriver or prybar to open this panel. Inside, you will find several fuses. Check the back of the panel for a diagram that explains the purpose of each fuse. If it's not there, refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Identify the faulty fuse and remove it. Look for a thin strip of metal connecting two raised sections on the fuse - if the strip is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced; if intact, the fuse is still good. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, costing around $10.
If there are problems with the sunroof on the Volkswagen Tiguan panoramic model, it could result in water leaking through the seals and the sunroof becoming unable to open or close properly.
