Toyotas are recognized for their dependability, but there are instances when even they may experience a check engine light. Some common reasons why a 2013 Toyota Camry might trigger this warning include a malfunctioning oxygen sensor, a faulty head gasket, issues with emission parts, spark plugs, a mass airflow sensor, and problems with the fuel injection system. If you do have a pesky CEL pop up, I suggest getting an OBD scanner tool. You don't have to spend a fortune on one if you don't want to; you can likely find one for around 20 dollars. Simply plug the scanner into your vehicle, and it will display a code indicating the cause of the illuminated CEL.
