To change the spark plugs on a Toyota Yaris, gather tools like a 5/8" plug socket, a 10mm ratchet with a 1/4" drive, a 6" extension bar, a 3/8" drive ratchet, and some automotive grease. Once you reach the spark plug area, use the 5/8" socket with a magnetic end to remove the old plugs. Turn the socket with a ratchet to lift out the old plugs. Before installing the new plug, compare its threads to the old one to prevent engine damage. Insert the new plug, tighten with the 5/8" socket, and wrench securely.
The spark plug socket size for the Toyota Yaris is 5/8 inches.
