Back in 2005, the Acura MDX was among the first cars to offer navigation, but compared to today's technology, it might not measure up. Like any old tech, the navigation system can run into some problems. To address most issues, updating the navigation unit is the recommended solution. However, if your navigation is struggling to start, there's a simple trick to try. Check the trunk for the DVD player on the rear passenger's side. Insert and remove a clean DVD to possibly reset the system. While this method may seem basic, many drivers have found success using it. For more serious errors, you'll likely need to replace the unit.
