The Acura RSX-TYPE requires AutoZone 50/50 Antifreeze and Coolant 1 gallon for its coolant. To change the coolant, start by locating the radiator under the hood, in front of the engine. It is connected to a clear or black plastic reservoir, which has a drain plug, fill plug, and a dipstick. Check the coolant level using the dipstick and add more if needed. For a flush, open the drain plug and allow the coolant to drain into a container. You can use water to aid in the flushing process. Once mostly clean water drains out, close the drain plug, fill the reservoir to the designated level marked by the dipstick, and then replace the cap.
Ensure you refill the coolant reservoir of your Acura RSX Type S with only blue, extended-life, ready-to-use coolant that contains phosphate organic acid technology.
