The RX350 needs oil with the grade of 5W-30, but if you reside in harsh climates such as Canada and northern states of America, using 0W-20 oil would be preferable for smoother cold starts in winter. In contrast, residents of southern states of America should use 5W-30 oil in their RX350 during summer and switch to 0W-20 for winter.

I'm going to start working on changing the oil in my wife's RX350 myself because my nearby Lexus dealer takes forever to set an appointment, then makes me wait for hours, and charges hundreds of dollars.
