The 2008 Nissan Versa was fitted with a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine, which was the sole option available for this vehicle. Regardless of the climate you reside in, this engine must be filled with synthetic 5W-30 motor oil. The oil capacity, including the filter, is 4.1 US quarts, which is just slightly more than one gallon. Therefore, you will need to purchase a 1.25-gallon container for a complete oil change. To remove the oil drain plug, you will require a 14mm socket, and it should be torqued to 25 ft-lbs.
