The 2016 Hyundai Accent has a 6-quart oil capacity and requires SAE 5W-20 viscosity oil for an oil change. To start the process, make sure the car has been parked and turned off for a couple of hours to let the oil cool down. Locate the oil pan and drain plug underneath the engine, and place a bucket underneath before removing the plug. Let the oil drain completely, which might take about an hour. When it stops dripping, reattach the drain plug. Next, locate the oil intake port on top of the oil pan and using a funnel, fill it to the full mark. Be careful not to overfill, as this can cause leaks and oil burn off. Once it's filled, seal the port, clean up any spills, and your oil change is complete.

If you can't find 5W-20, you may opt for 5W-30 instead. Quaker State is a reputable choice.
