Your car is equipped with an oil life indicator that will signal when it's time to schedule maintenance. After an oil change, this indicator must be reset to show 100% oil life. Kia advises changing the oil every 5,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. However, your individual driving habits will determine your maintenance needs.
