The recommended transmission fluid type for the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder is Valvoline Synthetic Transmission Fluid CVT. To replace the transmission fluid, start by ensuring that your vehicle is parked on a level surface and then open the hood. Locate the transmission fluid reservoir, which is typically situated near or on the transmission itself, and find the dipstick. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and then pull it out again. Take note of the fluid level indicated and the amount of new fluid needed to refill the reservoir. Using a funnel, slowly add transmission fluid until the reservoir is full or reaches the full mark. It's okay to be slightly below full, but avoid overfilling. Finally, close the reservoir and you're all set.
