If you have a customized screen in your Ford Transit van, there are several possible reasons why it may not be working properly. First, you should inspect the fuse box to see if a fuse has blown, which would need to be replaced. Replacing a fuse is a simple task as they are easy to remove and replace. If the fuse is not the problem, then you should examine the wiring connecting the display to ensure it was installed correctly. If neither the fuse nor the wiring is the issue, then you should test the battery and alternator to confirm they are providing power. Although it is unlikely, it is advisable to check these components before considering replacing the entire display screen.
If the screen on your Ford Transit custom display isn't functioning, the issue typically lies with the display itself.
Replace the synchronization unit.
I own a Tourneo Custom 2025 and recently discovered a cool trick to check the gauges. Just press the ok button on the right side of the steering wheel while turning on the ignition (do not start the engine). The screen will display "TEST." Scroll through to ensure all parts of the cluster are functioning. I initially thought there was an issue with the instrument cluster, but it turned out that the problem was actually with the two batteries, which needed replacement. Once I swapped them out, the problem was solved.
I have tried everything, but it's still not working.
