Make sure to have a funnel and a drain plug crush washer on hand. Start by taking off the splash shield caps under the vehicle, then use the breaker bar to remove the drain plug bolt with the drain pan below to catch the fluid. After cleaning the bolt and replacing the crush washer, reinstall the bolt and tighten it to 36 lb-ft of torque. Finally, refill the transmission with new fluid, preferably using genuine Honda transmission fluid.
