In a 2007 Volvo S40, you can find the auxiliary input, known as the aux port, in the center console. This console is located between the driver's and passenger's seats at the front. Inside the console, there is a small circular hole which houses a 3.5-millimeter jack. You can use this jack to connect your phone or laptop to play audio files. Once you have your device plugged in, you will need to switch the radio to aux mode by pressing the aux button on the front. From then on, any audio played through your connected device will come through the car's speakers. Keep in mind that both the volume of the media and the radio can be adjusted separately.
