The 2002 Chevy Avalanche does not come with an AUX input as it was released before AUX inputs became a common feature in vehicles. However, you can still add an AUX input through third-party solutions. These solutions can connect to the nine-pin adapter on the back of your original head unit, typically used for a CD player. They can provide you with a USB port and a 3.5mm auxiliary input. For even greater functionality, you can replace the head unit with a new one that includes Bluetooth and other modern technologies.
The spot where you can plug in your auxiliary device on a 2002 Chevy Avalanche is smack dab on the dashboard. Just keep an eye out for the 3.5mm audio port.
