The position of bank 1 sensor 1 on a 2006 Kia Sorento can be found on the cylinder's right side, near the firewall and labeled as RH. The location of sensor 2, labeled as LH, is near the radiator. In the 2006 Kia Sorento, the sensor 1 for bank 1 can be found in front of the catalytic converter.
Bank 1 refers to the cylinders located on the side of the vehicle where the passenger sits. Sensor 1 is positioned on the exhaust manifold at the back of the engine, close to the firewall. The sensor is upright and has a wire attached to it. To access the sensor, you will need to remove the heat shield on the exhaust to use a wrench on the sensor.
