The 2018 BMW 430i Convertible has its battery positioned on the passenger's side of the trunk, concealed behind a trim and carpet access panel that can be easily removed with a simple twist tab. Once you access the battery, you'll notice it's securely in place but still conveniently reachable, especially in a convertible. If you ever need to jump-start the car or replace the battery, it's quite a luxurious setup. When it comes to installing a new battery, you'll need a group size H8 with a recommended cold cranking amp (CCA) of 850 or higher. Plan on spending at least $175 for one, as these batteries aren't cheap. Just remember that owning a German-engineered car comes with its costs, so smile as you make the investment!
