If you own a BMW M4, the battery is situated in the trunk. To access it, step into the driver's seat and press the trunk release button. Exit the car and clear out any items in the back of the trunk. Lift the carpet in that area and focus on the left side - you'll find the battery beneath a black cover. Replacement batteries can range in price from $80 to $200.
