The Kia Stinger’s battery is located at the rear under the panel. It’s an AGM90L if you need to replace it. If you ever need to jump start your Stinger, you can find the terminals near the firewall on the passenger side in the engine compartment. Placing the battery in the back not only improves weight distribution and extends its lifespan by avoiding high under-the-hood temperatures, but it also makes it easier to remove. Additionally, the location of the terminals ensures a safer jump start process as it minimizes the risk of sparks igniting potentially dangerous gases. However, be mindful that the performance of your vehicle still depends on the alternator. If you notice that your battery is charging fine, but you’re still having issues, it might be a sign of a failing or malfunctioning alternator.
You'll find the battery in the Kia Stinger under the hood. Just search for the big black box with a red and black connector on top.
The battery is located in the trunk, underneath the trunk panel where the spare tire would normally go.
