The Ford F 350 block heater cord can be found at the bottom of the front bumper near the engine block. It helps keep the engine block warm and ensures that the coolants and oil remain at a suitable temperature. By using the block heater, your car will start more smoothly in very cold weather. While some block heaters run on the car's own fuel or diesel supply, most use electrical plugs. A good practice is to plug in the engine block heater when the temperature drops to -15° C or below. For diesel vehicles, it may be necessary to plug in the block heater even before it gets that cold.
The cord for the block heater of the Ford F350 can be found positioned near the base of the engine block underneath the front bumper.
