The block heater for the Hyundai Elantra is situated on the left side near the oil cooler in the front of the engine bay. If your car is experiencing issues with the climate control system, there could be a few potential culprits. If the blend actuator motor is faulty, you won't be able to regulate the air temperature or adjust the airflow. A malfunctioning fan motor may result in poor air circulation, though you may still hear noise when it's turned on. In case nothing seems to be functioning, it's possible that the fuse has blown. Locate the fuse box, usually under the hood or to the left of the steering wheel, and replace the fuse if needed. Also, a defective temperature sensor near the fan motor could cause erratic behavior from the actuator, leading to inconsistent temperature readings.
