The blower motor in a Chevy Traverse can be found above the passenger side footwell area on the firewall. If you're having issues with adjusting the speed of the blower, it is likely that the resistor needs to be replaced. To start, remove the plastic cover beneath the glove box. Use a flat blade screwdriver or a special tool to release the two speed clips holding the cover in place. Once the cover is off, locate the blower motor in the middle and then look towards the left and back by the firewall to find the resistor. You'll see a wire connecting the resistor to the blower motor.
The blower motor resistor for the Chevy Traverse can be found in the fuse box situated in the engine compartment.
