The 2006 Chrysler Sebring is not equipped with a cabin air filter, unlike many other vehicles from that time period. Typically, these filters are found behind the passenger side glove box. If you want to confirm this, you can check there. However, it was not uncommon for vehicles from around 2006 to not come with a cabin air filter as it was more of a modern feature.
I drive a 2006 Chrysler Sebring convertible. I checked the glove box, but couldn't find where the cabin air filter goes.

The cabin air filter in a 2006 Chrysler Sebring can be found behind the glove compartment. To get to it, you'll have to use a screwdriver to take off the front cover.
