It's worth pointing out that depending on the model year of your Ford Focus, it may or may not have a cabin air filter. Most models from 2012 or later do have one, so this information is relevant for them specifically. To locate the filter, check on the passenger side of the cabin underneath the glove box towards the passenger side of the center dashboard. While accessing it may seem a bit daunting, you'll need to remove the kick panel and a few other plastic components. Fortunately, this task only needs to be done every 10,000 to 20,000 miles, making it a somewhat infrequent maintenance job. If you require a detailed step-by-step guide on how to do this, there's a helpful tutorial available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1rHy3NjTsE.
The cabin air filter in the Ford Focus is situated behind the dashboard, just behind the glove compartment.
