Potential issues that may arise include a faulty motor, an inaccurate thermostat, unpleasant odors from the vents affecting comfort, a loose fan, sweats-inducing Freon leak, irritating noises from the air conditioner, troublesome loose mounting bolts, and a noisy compressor due to excess Freon.
