On your 2015 Subaru WRX, the camshaft position sensor is situated on the right side of the engine block when facing the engine, specifically on the driver's side. You can find it below the radiator hoses near the serpentine belt, identifiable by the assembly with the largest hex bolt closest to the front radiator hose. Replacing this part can be costly, with Subaru's manufacturer's suggested retail price for the Engine Camshaft Position Sensor (part number 22056AA140) being $117.07 if purchased directly from them.
The camshaft position sensor in the 2015 Subaru WRX is located under the timing belt cover, positioned at the front of the cylinder head.
In a 2015 WRX FA20DIT (excluding STI models), the crankshaft position sensor is located on the left-hand side of the engine, in front of the clutch slave cylinder, beneath the bulkhead motor wiring harness. The camshaft position sensors can be found at the upper and lower corners on the front left and right sides, positioned above or below the Oil Control Valves (also known as AVCS Solenoids).
