The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee has its CD player location near the front on the main dashboard. If the CD player is not working, it may be due to a blown fuse. To access the fuse box, look to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Using a screwdriver or prybar, you should pop this open. Inside, you will find a collection of fuses. On the back of the panel that you opened, there should be a diagram showing what each fuse is for. If the diagram is not there, you can also find it in the owner's manual for the vehicle. Once you've identified the fuse you need to replace, simply pull it out. Check if the thin strip of metal connecting the two sections of the fuse is intact; if it's broken, the fuse is no longer usable and needs to be replaced. If the strip is fine, you can reinsert the fuse. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically costing around $10.
