As you check under the hood of your 2010 Nissan Pathfinder, when looking directly at the passenger side back corner behind the white plastic window washer reservoir with the blue cap, you'll find the ECM located there. The wiring harness connectors leading to it are marked with small yellow tabs to help with orientation. Disconnecting and removing it is a straightforward process if you need to verify the serial number for a potential recall. Some common signs of a failing ECM include the check engine light coming on, engine stalling or misfiring, difficulty starting the car, and experiencing unusual performance issues leading to lower fuel efficiency. It reminded me of those pharmaceutical commercials!
The 2010 Nissan Pathfinder's Engine Control Module (ECM) can be found in the engine compartment, on the passenger side wall towards the rear, close to the window washer reservoir.
