Where can I find the ECU on a Lexus IS250?

The electronic control unit (ECU) of a Lexus IS250 is situated beneath the driver's side airbag, near the fuse box. To access it, first, take off the LH fender apron cover by unlatching the clips. Beneath this cover, you will locate the fuse box and the engine computer box installed next to it. Unscrew the 3 10mm bolts securing the cover on the box and take it off. Use a tool like a pick to extract the junction block inside the case. Once the block is out, detach the two harnesses entering the box by pulling them upwards and unplugging the connectors. After disconnecting the connectors, remove the 2 10mm bolts holding the ECU in place, and then lift it out.

The ECU for the Lexus IS250 is in two spots. The primary location is situated behind the dashboard on the passenger side, below the airbags. Additionally, the body ECU can be found under the driver-side airbag, near the fuse box.
