The 2007 Nissan Altima factory amplifier can be found located behind the main console dash. If there are issues with the amp or speakers not working, the first step is to check the fuse box. To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack along the left side of the dash near the steering wheel. You can use a screwdriver or prybar to gently open this panel. Inside, you will find multiple fuses. On the back of the panel, there should be a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. In case the diagram is not present, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you identify the problematic fuse, remove it. Check for a thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections of the fuse. If this strip is broken, the fuse is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are relatively inexpensive, costing around $10.
The factory amplifier for the 2007 Nissan Altima can be found beneath the lining in the back right corner of the trunk.
