Out of the three engine configurations available for the 2013 Cadillac ATS, only the 2.0T 4Cylinder turbocharged engine features a serviceable fuel filter. Unlike the 2.5L 4Cylinder and the 3.5L 6 cylinder engines, which have the fuel filter integrated into the fuel pump assembly and not meant to be replaced. The fuel filter in the 2.0T engine can be found as an inline canister located around the middle of the underside of the vehicle. Prior to attempting to change the fuel filter, it is crucial to depressurize the fuel system and disconnect power from the vehicle, while also wearing protective eyewear to prevent serious injury. In the Cadillac ATS of 2013, you can reach the fuel filter by going underneath the rear seat on the passenger side of the car.
