As the proud owner of a 2013 Hyundai Elantra, you might have wondered about the location of your fuel filter. It can be found inside the gas tank, situated in the rear driver's side of the vehicle. If the filter gets blocked or worn out, you'll need to swap it out. Depending on the parts, this repair could cost you anywhere from $13 to $85. Opting for a mechanic or service technician to handle the replacement will add an extra $50 to $120 for their labor.
The fuel filter is situated within the fuel pump housing assembly. The fuel pump/filter and sending unit are integrated into a single unit. Nonetheless, each of these components can be obtained and changed individually if desired. This unit can be found beneath the rear seat inside the fuel tank.
