In the 2004 Chevrolet Impala, the fuel pump relay is located in the main fuse box at the front of the engine compartment. To locate it, first, go to the front of your car and open the hood, using the prop arm to hold it up. The fuse box is a long black container next to the battery. Open the lid to access the fuses and switches inside. Refer to the code list sticker to identify the fuel pump relay. A replacement fuse will cost you between $54 and $128.
